The rules.
Build during the event. You can arrive with an idea, but the prototype itself gets created at the hackathon.
Focus on local business. Build something that solves a real problem or creates an opportunity for a Reykjavík business.
Everyone can take part. Coding experience isn't required. Teams can mix business, design and technical skills.
Use Lovable. Other vibe coding tools are welcome, but the build itself must be on Lovable.
Respect people's work and data. Only use content, images and business information you have permission to use, and never put private customer data into AI tools.
Be kind and collaborative. Share ideas, give constructive feedback and make space for everyone to contribute.
Show what you built. Each team gives a short demo explaining the business problem, the solution and what they would do next.
